Two 宾州州立银行 professors are working to help students in STEM majors garner the core skills and knowledge offered in the humanities in an effort to gain a more complex understanding of how their disciplines and careers relate to humanity and the fast-paced global economy. A $350,000 grant will help them implement the Keystone Certificate at several campuses.
The 2022 Summer Institute for Equity in the Academic Experience held in June saw 16 teams across Penn State colleges and campuses, as well as seven teams from regional colleges and universities, gather in person at Penn State Harrisburg and virtually to focus on expanding access and advancing academic equity at their institutions.

There will also be student performances.
The key to understanding people is to understand their perspective. What Sharon Pitterson-Ogaldez brings to her role as the coordinator of 多样性 and international programs at 宾州州立银行 is not only a passion for the work, but that necessary understanding.
In recognition of International Education Week, Nov. 15-19, 宾州州立银行 will host a series of events designed to build bridges across the many different cultures represented at the college.
In celebration of LGBTQ+ Month and National Coming Out Day, 宾州州立银行 held a student art competition. Students were invited to submit their original artwork inspired by an LGBTQ+ cultural or historical figure.
